The measurement and control of fuel oil viscosity is a known requirement within the marine and diesel engine industries. The HFVM measures liquid viscosity, density, and temperature in aggressive environments. These meters use vibrating fork technology for reliable direct-insertion measurement. HFVMs provide Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO)/Marine Gas Oil (MGO) combustion control, and oil-fired heater and boiler control.
